Vanessa Vanzella is a strategic business leader with extensive experience in program management, sales, and retail operations. She has successfully led teams, optimized revenue, and driven business growth across multiple industries. Since her diagnosis with stage IV ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer in 2018, Vanessa has become a passionate advocate for patient empowerment and equitable care. She now leads the organization’s media, marketing, and operational efforts. In this role, she plays a key part in building national awareness, driving patient-focused initiatives, and ensuring the organization’s growth and sustainability. Her unique blend of professional expertise and lived experience positions her as a powerful voice in the lung cancer advocacy landscape.

Vanessa is also a race car enthusiast who actively competes in regional motorsport events and promotes greater inclusion of women in racing. Beyond her advocacy and racing, she volunteers as a board member for a youth volleyball club, supporting her twin daughters' athletic journeys.
