ALK Positive Canada Awarded Grant to Launch National Education Initiative

ALK Positive Canada (APC) is proud to announce it has been awarded an Independent Education Grant to support a national patient education initiative for Canadians diagnosed with ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer.

This 18-month project will deliver plain-language education to help patients better understand treatment sequencing, manage side effects, and communicate effectively with their oncology teams. The initiative will provide Canada‑wide education sessions, practical side‑effect guides, and supportive peer groups to help patients understand their treatment plans and work effectively with oncology providers.

“This grant represents a transformative step for ALK Positive Canada as we expand our educational footprint and create sustainable, patient-centered resources,” said Duncan Preece, President of APC.
