Understanding and managing side effects with Dr. Liu

This webinar discusses the variety of side effects and how to manage them from common target therapies (lorlatinib, alectinib, neladalkib). The discussion includes dose adjustments, supportive medications, and how to communicate effectively with your oncology team.

Why this matters:

  • Targeted therapies for ALK‑positive NSCLC are highly effective, but side‑effects can impact daily life. Evidence‑based strategies help you stay on treatment longer and feel better day‑to‑day.

What you’ll learn:

  • Explanations of TKI side‑effects in ALK‑positive lung cancer
  • Recognize and track common TKI side‑effects
  • When and how dose reductions are considered
  • Supportive care strategies that improve daily quality of life
  • Recent research highlights relevant to ALK+ patients
  • Practical scripts and tools for care‑team conversations

Watch this session for practical, patient‑focused information from medical oncologist Dr. Geoffrey Liu (Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University of Toronto).
